FARMING MENTORSHIP AND TRAINING

Many emerging farmers miss opportunities in their farming businesses due to inexperience and/or the lack of knowledge and skills.

Mentoring is our speciality, when first meeting with an emerging farmer we do a skills audit to measure that specific farmer’s needs. We then develop our training program to suit the farmer’s situation. Thereby adapting the capabilities of each farmer as well as the capabilities of the farmland in each area.

LIVESTOCK SPECIALISTS

Years of industry experience enable us to assist new farmers to source quality cattle and sheep, and then help them grow their herds into the future.

We deal in all breeds depending on the farmers preference and the breed best suited to the area where the farm is situated.

Sourcing of quality Livestock is done according to the Farmers requirements.

LIVESTOCK INFRASTRUCTURE

Agri QBE provides access to resources for agricultural infrastructure and its construction. New or improved livestock infrastructure, we assist farmers in handling facilities, feedlots, building and maintaining kraals.

PRECISION CROP FARMING

We use modern equipment to prepare fields and plant crops at the optimum time for best results.

Assist with goal setting for future sustainability and development, input planning, budgeting, and sourcing the best seed, fertilization, and chemicals for the farmer’s particular area. 

FARMING SALES AND MARKETING

Identify the individual needs of each farmer and develop specific solutions to those needs

We assist farmers with marketing – Provide the right product required by the market and or connect the farmer with the right people to assist with his/her particular branding and marketing needs.

Supply livestock directly to the abattoir or feedlot. Assistance at Auctions (Selling & Buying)

AGRI QBE is a company that specialises in the development, training and mentorship of developing farmers the aim is to assist in the development and improvement of Free State Agriculture through the growth and sustainability of emerging farmers.

We have more than 40 years of experience in the farming industry and Agri QBE intends to use its director’s collective years of “On-farm” experience in livestock, pastures, and summer crop production to set the standard of approach to the development and training of Emerging Agriculture, through mentorship and guidance.

We will act as a bridge between the farmer and different agricultural sectors, providing guidance through best cost channels to uphold quality, while still maintaining affordable methods and procedures.
